Beekeeping 101 - Introduction to Beekeeping - Rescheduled Date

  • Kinderhook Memorial Library 18 Hudson Street Kinderhook, NY 12106 United States (map)

Spend an afternoon learning about bees, beekeeping, and Hudson Valley honey at the Kinderhook Memorial Library on Sunday, March 1, 2026, with Slow Food Hudson Valley.

In collaboration with Bee Hollow Farm—a family-owned, sustainably run apiary in the Hudson Valley—we’ll sit down with Certified Master Beekeeper Paul MacPhail, sample a range of local honeys, and take time to learn, ask questions, and explore our shared curiosity.

Gatherings like this embody the spirit of Slow Food Hudson Valley: bringing people closer to the farmers, producers, and practices that safeguard biodiversity, nurture local food systems, and help good, clean, and fair food flourish in our region.

Suggested Donation of $15 for SFHV members and $20 for non-SFHV members.
